"The West's Last Chance"

Click on the title of this post to read Steve Muscatello's review of The West's Last Chance, the new book by Tony Blankley and published by Regnery. It looks like an important book that may well make the Vital Signs "Book It!" autumn schedule. The other main contenders (all of which I've recommended here in The Book Den) are:

* A Country I Do Not Recognize: The Legal Assault on American Values, edited by Robert H. Bork.

* The Hand of God : A Journey from Death to Life by the Abortion Doctor Who Changed His Mind by Bernard N. Nathanson.

* Here's Where I Stand by Jesse Helms.

* Deadly Compassion by Rita Marker.

* Our Culture, What's Left of It : The Mandarins and the Masses
by Theodore Dalrymple

* Gulag Archipelago by Alexander Solzhenitsyn.
