I have long considered Jesse Helms to be among the foremost defenders of both liberty and justice and I am looking forward to reading the inside story of a life filled with courage, wisdom and Christian faith. His long (and sometimes quite lonely) fight for the interests of his country and for those moral issues (especially the sanctity of life) that have now become the core of a new conservative wave will certainly be an inspiration.
